  4.     Since embedding one's favourite VHLL interpreter in another application
  5.     seems to be all the rage these days, I was wondering if anybody had
  6.     considered making iconx embeddable.

  8. Once upon a time I embedded iconx in Gosling's Emacs.  I wrote a U of
  9. Arizona CS Department report (TR 84-8) about the project, but I don't know
  10. if the report is still available or not.  (The software is definitely not
  11. available any more!)

  13. It would be interesting to think about a broadly usable interface that
  14. applications could provide for the use of an embedded interpreter.  To some
  15. extent, I suppose that's what OLE and OpenDoc try to provide.
